The huge estate of 5,600 square meters is located on the banks of the river l'Ouvèze. In midst of vineyards and near to Mont Ventoux which is well known by the Tour de France. You have a fantastic view on the mountain from your house.
The historical village Vaison la Romaine is in walking distance. Just down the river there lies the historical Roman bridge which guides you to the charming village. It is famous for its several historical places like castle ruins and Roman Theater. But you can also find there several delicious restaurants, shops and cafes. If you have a chance you should visit the local market Marché Provençal on Tuesdays with its fresh regional products. The best way to get known the real taste of the Provence.
This region is famous for its wines and surrounded by lovely wine villages like Sablon, Roaix, Cairanne, Baume de Venise, Vacqueyras, Gigondas and of course Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
The estate consists of two buildings. The traditional main stone house with place for up to 9 guests and the smaller modern domicile with two bedrooms. Each house has its own big veranda and offers this amazing view over the river and Mont Ventoux.
The pool with several sun beds is surrounded by a wonderful lush garden with smelling lavender and colorful pink oleanders. The perfect location for outdoor dining.
This region is perfect for gourmets but also for sport fans. There are several hiking and biking routs nearby. Beside this there are other activities like the adventure park Oxygene in only 750 m distance, horse riding in 3 km, water parks in around 15 km and canoeing under the Pont du Gard 1 hour away. Golf lovers will like the Seve Ballesteros-designed Pont Royal Golf and the Provence Country Club. The beaches near Marseilles and the Camargues are a bit far away and you need around 1 hour drive to get there. But that's worth a day trip.
This spacious property is perfect for gourmets and active vacation lovers.
