This spacious 10 bedroom estate is situated outside of the small town Noves where you can get everything for daily life.
Within ten minutes you will reach St. Rémy-de-Provence and within 30 minutes the famous towns of Avignon, Arles, and L’isle sur-la-Sorgue.
Arles is well known for ancient Roman ruins and local Saturday market. If you have time you should visit it - there is no better place to feel, smell and taste the real Provence.
In Avignon you can visit the impressive gothic building, the Palais des Papes which is one of the largest fortresses in Europe. On good weather you can make a boat trip on the canals and pass the lovely small town L’isle sur-la-Sorgue with its several antique shops.
If you are a wine gourmet you must taste the local wines and visit the vineyards like Château Romanin in St. Rémy.
The villa in local Provencal style contains ten bedrooms and seven bathrooms. You can find this rustically charm in the new kitchen with the exclusive La Cornue cooker. It is a pleasure to cook there. As a special you have a drawing room with cozy fireplace and an air conditioned sitting area. All rooms on the ground floor share the fantastic view in the wonderful garden. Of course you can also enjoy this garden view from your large terrace.
The Water Lily House is famous for its spectacular garden. You have never seen something like this before except the gardens of Versailles or other garden palaces. There are separate areas with its own special theme. The main pool of the two is in the African garden with lifelike giraffe and elephants.
The pool house has an own fully equipped kitchen with sink, fridge/ freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Additionally you can use the high standard Weber BBQ. For your convenience you have outdoor showers and a bathroom at your pool area.
Beside of this impressive garden you have plenty of space on the twenty acres ground. You will find a tennis court with floodlight and an inbuilt basketball net and two inbuilt football nets. A perfect chance for a game in the cool evenings.
There are plenty of activities nearby like horse riding in Egalières and golf courses like the Servanes or Pont Royal. Or just rent a bike or cannoe and explore the area by yourself.

Water Lily House is ideally situated to profit from all the very best Provence has to offer. Located just ten minutes from the beautiful St. Rémy-de-Provence and within half an hour’s reach of the towns of Avignon, Arles, and L’isle sur-la-Sorgue, to name but a few.

There is a wealth of cultural and historical attractions within an easy drive. In Arles, you can see the Roman ruins, the Museum of Arles and Provence or go to the lively Saturday market.
In Avignon, there is the Palais des Papes, an important medieval gothic building, boasting one of the largest gothic fortresses in Europe. You can take a leisurely boat ride on the canals that pass through L’isle sur-la-Sorgue, a small but vibrant town, particularly visited for its many antique shops and where you can see working water wheels throughout.
Alternatively, you may wish to sample local wines and visit Château Romanin in St. Rémy where you can enjoy a tour of their vineyards and see their cellars.

Leisure activities around the area include horseback riding tours in Egalières, or avid golfers can tee off from either the Servanes or Pont Royal courses nearby. For those feeling more adventurous, hire a bike for the day and choose a challenging long distance mountain bike trail. Whether an easy or vigorous route, cycling is one of the best ways to experience the breath-taking vistas of the Provencal countryside.

For family days out with the children, there are a variety of adventures to choose from. Rent a canoe in Avignon and view its historic buildings from the river Rhône, or take the steam train of Cévennes from Anduze to Saint-Jean-du-Gard, passing through the typical landscapes of the region or spend the day at the Zoo in La Barben, where you can see a huge variety of creatures: elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, wolves and yaks.

Water Lily House is just outside of Noves, a beautiful small town which has two chemists, a supermarket and fine local bakery meaning you are just a short four minute drive from picking up your fresh croissants in the morning.
