The Provence is located in the south-east of France and consists of six departments (Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-Maritimes). It lies between mountains and sea, the summits of the alpes and the Mediterranean Coast.
When you speak of “Provence” you have the picture of violet shining lavender fields, small mountain villages and Mediterranean landscapes in your mind.
